I was hosting a hen do for my daughter Liv, her new family were also attending from Ireland, so I wanted something special for the occasion.I had heard from people about Lyn's poems but thought they were just for weddings. She assured me she could help, and we decided that all the friends should send a text message about a funny story or memory they have with Liv. The response was loads, and then Lyn managed to tell all these stories within her poem.She read at the hen do so well deliver and had everyone in stitches and Made the day so lovely for Liv, the copy of which is now in her memory box from the wedding. Can highly recommend Lyn not just for the poem but the natural and confident was she delivered it.

My wedding (August 24) was all about being different so we married in Majorca in the sunshine surrounded by vineyards an amazing setting. We were lucky enough our friends and family travelled to our dream wedding. So, I, of course, wanted something different in our ceremony.I contacted Lyn; we agreed the bridesmaids would meet with her to relay funny stories to her and put their trust that Lyn would produce a good poem for our ceremony to be read by a couple of the bridesmaids.Wow !!! we were amazed how much detail, the poem relayed, it was fun, full of love and really made the ceremony special to us. We now have it all framed with our favourite photo at the alter. Such a pleasure to write this testimonial, and thanks again to Lyn.

Due to Covid, I was unable to fly to New Zealand to see my son Henry marry his love, Victoria. Henry asked me to make a speech that could be played at the reception. Being not used to this, I was recommended to Lyn as someone who could help. We met, and I relayed stories of Henry as a child and how he met Victoria, memories from all the photos we looked at together. The end result was fabulous. It incorporated all the childhood stories I shared and included Victoria and Henry's special love story. The poem was truly wonderful, Lyn then helped me and Henrys sisters read the poem so we were confident enough to send it to Henry for the reception. Although 9 minutes long the time whizzed and we received a standing ovation over video call at the ceremony and made me feel I was there in new Zealand too! We also have a copy which is truly cherished. Like her company name, the poems written are cherished forever, and her attention to details, which all gets included, is amazing and special.

Our wedding was held in Wimborne at Deans Court, where we live, so all suppliers were local to Wimborne; this was very important to us. We asked Lyn to write us something unique and bespoke that the bridesmaid could read in the usual reading slot. We let her have poetic licence as long as Wimborne was mentioned, and we didn’t hear it to the day! We were delighted as she wrote the poem in an acrostic way(W is for…, I am for …. M is for …. Etc) she managed to incorporate all the key elements of our love story in such a fun and loving way. The framed keepsake of the poem has pride position in our lounge. Can highly recommend Lyn for her poems and think she is an ace celebrant.
